New Orleans Museum of Art: Katrina Exposed
I visited the New Orleans Museum of Art over the weekend to see the "Katrina Exposed" exhibit. It is an excellent collection of amateur and professional photographs. Some of the most vivid are those taken by children as part of a children with cameras project. The children included a brief written interpretation of what they were feeling when taking the photograph. The exhibit is well done and very moving; a fantastic contribution to NOMA. There is no admission price to NOMA for Louisiana residents for the rest of the year, so it is really worth the time to see this and the other excellent exhibits.
