Hurricane Season 2006
While it is merely coincidence that the NFL announced their schedule the same time the National Weather Center announced its list of 2006 Hurricane Season names, it is interesting to see what to look out for. In 2006 we will have:
Alberto, Beryl, Chris, Debby, Ernesto, Florence, Gordon, Helene, Isaac, Joyce, Kirk, Leslie, Michael, Nadine, Oscar, Patty, Rafael, Sandy, Tony, Valerie, and William.
I, for one, hope we do not get hit by a hurricane at all this year, but if we do I hope it is not Hurricane Rafael. You know what a pain in the ass that would be always having to say "Man, what about Hurricane Rafael? Hurricane Rafael was sure a bad one." That's worse than the whole Georges(z) thing.

As my friend likes to point out about Hurricane Georges, it was the first gay hurricane. I think Hurricane Rafeal would be the second.
